A note

The imagery question.

Some of the photography on this site is real. Some of it is generated. The honest answer is that we use AI-generated atmospheric imagery for moods and abstract landscapes where no specific person, place or claim is being depicted, and we use real photography for anything that asserts a fact about a person.

What is AI-generated

Atmospheric backgrounds — abstract landscapes, light, texture, architecture at distance. The intent is mood, not record.

What is never AI-generated

Founder portraits. Photographs of identifiable people. Photographs of identifiable buildings used to imply affiliation. If you see a face on this site, it is a real face.

Why we tell you

Because if we don't say so, you are entitled to assume otherwise, and that assumption would slowly become a lie. This page is the standing answer.
