The work between the lessons. And the learners the system serves last.

A tutoring environment for the learning that happens between teacher, parent and pupil, built SEND-first, aware of AAC and Makaton from the very start.

Aevum's tutoring tool is built for the learning that happens between teacher, parent and pupil, outside the classroom. And it's built SEND-first, aware of AAC and Makaton from the first line, not the last.

    The gap outside the classroom

A great deal of learning happens between lessons: the catch-up, the practice, the conversations between a tutor, a parent and a child. The tutoring environment is built to support that space, with the same rules as everything else Aevum makes: your data stays with you, and nothing you enter comes to us.

Built for them first, on purpose

Most technology reaches the child with an EHCP, the pupil who uses AAC or Makaton, or the learner who doesn't type the way a keyboard expects, only after it's been built for everyone else. Aevum starts there. SEND is not a market we're trying to capture. It's who we build for first, and we want to build it with those who know it best, not at them.

If you support these learners, we'd value you in the room as this is shaped. In development.
